Salman Khan to visit Kolkata in January with his DA-BANGG tour

The Bhaijan fans in Kolkata cannot keep calm. Their longtime prayer is being answered at last. If all goes well, Salman Khan will set foot in Kolkata at the beginning of the next year. He will perform in Kolkata in a major event. He is coming here with the programme DA-BANGG THE TOUR-RELOADED. Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhu Deva, Ayush Sharma, and Guru Randhawa are also coming with him. Salman officially announced the programme on Monday. 

Sohel Khan and Salman’s personal security guard Shera came to Kolkata last month and inspected everything. They studied the hotel, programme schedule, security, and the venue, Eco Park. 

Salman is supposed to set foot in the city on January 19, 2023. He will make a courtesy visit that day to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Then there will be a night-long rehearsal, and he will perform on January 20. 

Right now Salman Khan gets Y+ category security from the state. Salman and his father Selim Khan got a threat letter this June. After that, the Maharashtra government does not want to compromise Bhaijaan’s security. With that three-tier security belt, additional special security by the Kolkata Police will accompany the superstar’s team. 

Salman does not do city promotion for his films. In the last few years Salman was supposed to come to Kolkata more than once, but every time the plans got cancelled. He did not set foot in Bengal in the last 12 years. In 2009, Salman was supposed to play football in a Kolkata playground as part of the promotion of his film Wanted. But he was mobbed in the ground and was compelled to go back to the hotel because the situation was going beyond anyone's control. The match was cancelled. But his fans are hoping that Bhaijan will fulfill his commitment this time.
