According to reports, a man called the Mumbai police control room on Monday night threatening to assassinate Salman Khan on April 30. The caller described himself as "Goushala Rakshak Rocky Bhai" from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Also, he instructed the police to let the actor know about the call.

Officials from the Crime Branch and Mumbai police are attempting to find the caller.

Outside of Khan's home, security has increased. Due to a suspected threat to his life, the actor has already received Y+ category protection and a bulletproof vehicle.

"In a call received at Police Control Room yesterday, a man who identified himself as Roki Bhai from Rajasthan's Jodhpur threatened to kill actor Salman Khan on April 30. Further investigation underway: Mumbai Police," ANI tweeted.

Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, as well as Mohit Garg were named in a FIR filed by the Mumbai police last month for allegedly threatening Khan over email. Police officers looking into the case, nevertheless, believe it to be a hoax.

A 25-year-old Delhi resident who is now enrolled in school in the UK sent the email. According to officials, he does not appear to be affiliated with the criminals Bishnoi and Brar or any other group.

The actor had previously received threats connected to the Bishnoi gang. A letter from June of last year had been left at the actor Salim Khan's usual walking spot on Bandra Bandstand. The actor would suffer the same fate as singer Sidhu Moosewala, who passed away last year, according to the letter. In that instance, a FIR was also lodged, and the Mumbai Crime Branch was given charge of the case.

Amidst death threats, the actor was recently seen promoting his forthcoming movie, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," at the trailer premiere on Monday. The film, which also stars Pooja Hegde, is set to release on April 21.
