Salman Khan, who was last seen in Sikandar, is all geared up to begin shooting for his upcoming war movie, based on the Galwan Valley clash. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film will feature the superstar as an army officer. Amid this, a report revealed the shooting schedule of Salman and details of the locations.

According to Pinkvilla, Salman Khan is all ready to begin shooting for the Galwan Valley film from July end. There will be a look test sometime in early July, and that is likely to be used to announce the film. While pre-production work is in full swing, the makers are aiming to go on floors in July 2025.
The first schedule is set to kick off in Ladakh, for about 25 days, followed by a marathon stint at a studio in Mumbai. A lot of action scenes will also be shot in real locations in Ladakh. Not only this, but there will also be extension shots in a studio in Mumbai. "Salman has allotted a lot of dates for the film and the team is planning to wrap it up by November 2025,” the source added.
Meanwhile, the Galwan Valley film is based on the best-selling novel, India’s Most Fearless, and features Salman Khan as an army officer. Speaking about the superstar's diet for the film, the source mentioned that Salman is following a tight regime and is hitting the gym to acquire a lean physique.

The portal also mentioned that apart from Salman, there are three other important characters in the film, and casting is underway for them.
"The team has auditioned for the roles, and have decided to cast none of the in-house talents from the camp. The idea is to pad up the film with credible names, and the same is underway silently at SKF,” the source shared.

India Today had earlier reported that to meet the physical demands of playing a well-known army officer like Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, Salman has embarked on an intense training regimen.
The source reported that the AK-47 he will be seen carrying is symbolic, but the real test is enduring the thin air, long shooting, and rough terrain. "This prep isn’t just physical; it’s about doing justice to a national hero," the source added.
Meanwhile, speaking about the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, it was a military conflict between India and China that took place in June 2020 in the disputed Galwan Valley in Ladakh. It was the first deadly clash between the two countries' armies in decades, resulting in casualties on both sides.
