2023 is a really special year for megastar Salman Khan and his fans. In April this year, the 57-year-old actor featured in a titular role in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan – a movie which minted over Rs 150 crores at the box office. From May onwards, the versatile actor is busy hosting the realty show, Bigg Boss OTT Season 2.

In the middle of these developments, a report by Pinkvilla claims that a sequel of Salman Khan’s 2014 action film, Kick, is on the cards.

As per the report, popular filmmaker and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has promised Salman Khan that Kick 2 will surely be created on a magnanimous scale. The report even claims that Salman Khan has read the script of the movie and is likely to express his opinion on it soon.

Sajid Nadiadwala told Pinkvilla, “I launched myself as a director with Kick and that’s my favorite project. The moment I speak about Kick, I get messages from the industry and even the digital world is flooded with questions on when Kick 2 will go on floors. Now, I promise that there will be an extension to Kick. The subject is there on paper, it’s completely written but needs to be fine-tuned. I will be ready to take Kick 2 on floors soon.”

Sajid goes on to add that Salman Khan has read the initial script and both of them are chalking out a plan on how this project will be executed.

“First, it was on my mind but now, it’s on paper. Salman has also heard it and now I just need the excitement of the audience to come back and then we can plan Kick 2 accordingly,” Sajid admits.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is gearing up for the grandeur promotions of his upcoming action movie, Tiger 3. It is slated to be released on November 10 this year, coinciding with the Hindu festival of Diwali.
