Salman Khan's safety in question - Mumbai Police intensify security review amidst persistent threats from Lawrence Bishnoi

Lawrence Bishnoi has been threatening Salman Khan due to which his security was increased earlier this year. Due to Bishnoi's repeated threats against Khan, the Bollywood actor was also granted permission to carry a personal firearm for self-defense, even though the latter is currently incarcerated due to his involvement in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case.

The latest addition to the list is a social media post that was made over the weekend and includes a warning to Khan as well as an open account description of the shooting incident at Gippy Grewal's Vancouver, Canada home. Following this social media post, the police have decided to review the security provided to the superstar and to carry out more investigation work.

After this incident, a police officer spoke out about the steps being taken. The officer disclosed that in addition to looking into the legitimacy and authenticity of the social media account, they had also written to the social media platform to find out where the post was created. Since Bishnoi is incarcerated, they are currently tracking the IP address to learn more about the person managing the account in his absence.

Lawrence Bishnoi's threat to Gippy Grewal for his friendship with Salman Khan

For the uninitiated, Gippy Garewal was the victim of an attack at his Vancouver, Canada, home lately because he had grown friends with Salman Khan. Threats against the Punjabi actor-singer persisted, even after he insisted that his relationship with Khan had only been professional and that he had only met the actor a few times.

The message, which was shared on Facebook by Lawrence Bishnoi's account, stated: “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you.”
