Salman Khan’s Tiger 3: Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting his cameo sequence from May 8?

YRF Spy Universe’s highly-anticipated next outing, Tiger 3, has been the talk of the town lately. Starring Salman Khan (as Tiger) and Katrina Kaif (as Zoya), the Maneesh Sharma directorial will also see Shah Rukh Khan making a cameo appearance. Now, going by the latest update, it is likely that the Pathaan superstar will start shooting for his short sequence for the crime thriller next week. 

Slated to release during Diwali 2023, Tiger 3 comes after Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War 2 (2019) and most recently Pathaan, which went on to clock more than ₹1000 crores globally, marking a landmark collection in the history of Hindi cinema. Next in the franchise are War 2 (directed by Ayan Mukerji) and Tiger vs Pathaan (helmed by Siddharth Anand).

The star cast of Tiger 3 will also feature Emraan Hashmi, Ranvir Shorey and Vishal Jethwa. Speaking about SRK’s shooting schedule for the upcoming actioner, an insider told Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh [Khan] and Salman [Salman] will shoot for the said sequence from May 8. The filming will take place at the YRF (Yash Raj Films) studio. The shooting is expected to go on for around five to seven days,” The film will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Salman’s surprise cameo appearance as Tiger in Pathaan - which also featured Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles - is regarded as a major highlight of the blockbuster hit film. Apparently, fans were thrilled to see ‘Karan Arjun’ back on screen together.

Adding to that, the source said, “Maneesh and producer Aditya Chopra have done extensive preparation for this scene. They know that the sequence between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in Pathaan has been very well received by the audience. With Tiger 3, the makers hope to take the camaraderie and madness one step ahead. There’s already palpable excitement among the crew members to shoot the scene. That Pathaan has got so much love worldwide has proved to be a booster shot for team Tiger 3!” The film is scheduled to release on November 10.
