Vicky Kaushal's film, Sam Bahadur, got a decent start at the box office. The movie, directed by Meghna Gulzar, clashed with Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal at the ticket window. Despite the box office clash, Sam Bahadur maintained its steady pace. And finally, after 10 days of its theatrical run, the Vicky Kaushal starrer has raced past ₹50 crore mark.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur collected around ₹7.50 crore at BO. Taking that into consideration, the total collection of the Vicky Kaushal film now stands at ₹56.55 crore. For those who are unaware, the war drama saw a surge in its collection after week one ended at ₹38.80 crore.
Sam Bahadur vs Animal box office collection
While Sam Bahadur has finally crossed the ₹50 crore mark, Animal has entered the ₹400 crore club at the domestic box office. As of today, the total BO collection of Animal is around ₹432 crore. Talking about Vanga's film, it is a fictional tale about a son who sets out on a mission to avenge a deadly attack on his father.

On the other hand, Meghna Gulzar's movie is based on the life of Sam Manekshaw. He was the first Field Marshal of India. Besides that, Manekshaw served as the Chief of Army Staff for the Indian Army during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.
What's next for Vicky Kaushal?
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's film, Dunki. Kaushal will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani in the movie. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 21, 2023. It will face competition with Prabhas' Salaar at the box office.
Apart from the aforementioned movie, Vicky has Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam. The actor will be seen alongside Animal actress Triptii Dimri in the movie.
