Shaakuntalam: Samantha reveals how she was neglected by Bollywood designers
Samantha, who maintained a low profile post her divorce is now all over the news for her new film Shaakuntalam. The film is all set for an April 14th release Pan-India wide and Sam is leaving no stone unturned. All her statements from her promotional interviews have made headlines these days and the same has happened once again.
When asked about how south films have dominated Bollywood in an interview, Samantha says "Things have changed for good and there is no more south or north divide and it is good to see Bollywood talk and work with south stars. I still remember the days when the top designers had no time or interest to design clothes for and well, the tables have now turned for good".
Samantha also adds now every small and top designer wants to work with us and big brands have started approaching them which is a game changer. Samantha also endorses some top brands and gets paid a bomb for the deals. She is now very famous after The Family Man 2 series and is also doing yet another series with the same directors' Raj and DK.
When it comes to Telugu cinema, Samantha is busy wrapping up her new film Khushi which also co-stars the heartthrob, Vijay Devarakonda. The romantic drama is being directed by Shiva Nirvana and Mythri Movie Makers produce it. This film is also one of the most awaited as Samantha is teaming up with Vijay Devarakonda in a romantic role for the first time in her career.
