The actress gave a befitting reply to the rumour of her taking a whopping Rs. 25 crores for myositis treatment from a Telugu superstar
That Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a superstar in her own right is something that we all know and abide by. While her career is going great guns, the actress had been not keeping well for sometime now. She had taken to social media a few months ago and informed her fans that she was suffering from an autoimmune condition called ‘Myositis’. She had posted a photograph of hers in the hospital with the caption that read, “The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery”.
Amidst all this, a strange rumour arose which stated that she had taken an amount of Rs 25 crore from a Telugu superstar for her myositis treatment, although there was no proof to substantiate the said ‘claim’. The actress took to her Instagram Stories and wrote a note (read ‘post’) that was good enough for such rumours to shut shop.
The actress wrote, "25 crores to treat Myositis!? Someone got you a pretty bad deal. I am glad I am only spending the smallest fraction of that. And, I don’t think I was paid in marbles for all the work I’ve done in my career. So, I can easily take care of myself. Thank you. Myosotis is a condition thousand suffer from. Let’s please be responsible with the information we put out regarding the treatment."
Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has kind of ta ken a mini sabbatical of sorts, is now concentrating on her health. If her social media posts are anything to go by, then, the actress is definitely on the right track in her mission for well-being and taking care of her health. For the unversed, the ‘Citadel’ actress was seen seeking blessings at the divine Devi at Golden Temple in Vellore. Besides that, she even had an extremely informative yoga session with Sadhguru at Isha Yoga Centre.
