Samantha Ruth Prabhu has commented about her special song, Oo Antava Oo Antava from Pushpa: The Rise. During a press conference at the Critics' Choice Awards, the actor expressed her gratitude for the positive feedback she has received for the song.

Samantha remarked that she doesn't know how to express the amount of love that has been shown to her. She wasn't expecting Oo Antava Oo Antava to be such a big hit throughout India. The actor said that not just Telugu audiences, but people all over the country have forgotten about the other movies she has done, but they recognize her for Oo Antava Oo Antava today.

Samantha's first special song, Oo Antava Oo Antava, has broken and set numerous records. One of the highlights of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa: The Rise was her appearance in Devi Sri Prasad's musical composition.

Samantha had previously expressed her reluctance to sign the item song, but Allu Arjun and director Sukumar were confident that the song would become a hit. Now that the actor is overjoyed with the amount of exposure Oo Antava Oo Antava has brought her, she gives Allu Arjun and Sukumar credit.

At the recently concluded event, the actor was seen wearing a bottle green gown. Her stunning look was praised and equally trolled by the netizens.

On Saturday, Samantha took to her Instagram story and slammed the trolls for commenting on her clothing choices. She wrote that, as a woman, she has personally experienced what it's like to be judged. One judges women based on what they wear, their race, their education, their social position, their attractiveness, their skin tone, and so on. It is literally the simplest thing in the world to make hasty judgments about someone based only on their clothing choices.

The Family Man 2 actor questioned whether one can now stop criticising a woman based on the hemlines and necklines she wears now that we've arrived in the year 2022 and focus on bettering ourselves instead.
