Samantha Ruth Prabhu to share screen space again with Nani for Dasara

Makers of the Nani-Keerthy Suresh starrer Dasara are keen to welcome the popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu on board. The movie will mark the Samantha-Nani duo’s reunion after the hit movies Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu and Eega.

It was earlier reported that Dasara helmed by debutante filmmaker Srikanth Odella will revolve around coal mines of Telangana, and the Nani-Keerthy pair will be playing the lead. The makers revealed that they have approached Samantha for an important role, which reportedly, she is yet to approve. She is most likely to accept the role, which will then mark the first collaboration of the three together. 

Meanwhile, Nani and Keerthy had already shared screen for the 2017 movie Nenu Local, which was a blockbuster. Keerthy and Samantha had collaborated for the epic biopic of late actress Savitri, titled Mahanati. Now that three stellar actors are to be together, the movie is turning to be much-hyped.

Dasara will portray Nani in a rugged avatar, which was evident in the first motion poster that was released earlier this month. With his brown beard and rustic look, the south star looks intense in the poster. The strong background dialogue in the motion poster also makes it seem that the Jersey actor will be having a serious and massive performance in the movie.

Backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the production banner of Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas, the movie’s music is handled by Santhosh Narayanan. 

Nani, who was last seen in the much-loved movie Tuck Jagadish, is also working currently on Shyam Singha Roy, which is another highly-anticipated film from the actor’s kitty.
