Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most sought after actors in the South Indian film industry and has a big fan base. The actor’s next, which is titled Yashoda, has wrapped up its first schedule.
The movie is helmed by the talented duo Hari-Harish, who are also making their directorial debut with Yashoda. The movie is produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies.
The movie will see Samantha in an author-backed role, which will give her an opportunity to flaunt her acting abilities.
As the first schedule wrapped, producer Prasad said, “We're making this Telugu-Tamil film uncompromisingly. Aiming to release in Kannada, Malayalam & Hindi simultaneously. The first schedule commenced from the 6th to 24th.”
Apart from Samantha, the movie also had Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma playing important roles in the first schedule of filming.
The second schedule of Yashoda will commence from Januray 3, 2022 to January 12, 2022. The third and final schedule of the movie will start on January 20, 2022.
Yashoda has music composed by ace music director Mani Sharma. While M Sukumar handles the camera, the movie is edited by Marthand K Venkatesh.
Samantha has had a great year in 2021, with the actor being lauded for her performance as Raji in season 2 of the hit web series The Family Man starring Manoj Bajpayee. The second season is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
Samantha was also seen in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise, in a cameo appearance in a dance number. She is currently working on Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and Shaakuntalam.
