Rohit Shetty is all set to bring the 14th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi and fans are eager to watch the show on-screen. While most of the contestants are announced, makers have still kept a few names under wraps to keep up the excitement for the show. As the team is gearing up for their participation, one of the contestants has now backed out, and it is none other than the Bigg Boss fame actor, Samarth Jurel.
Samarth Jurel, who was one of the first contestants to be confirmed has now backed out of the show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. The actor suffered a leg injury and hence won't be a part of this reality show. A source close to the show’s production told News18, “Yes, it is true. Samarth will not be leaving for Romania to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. He was finalised as one of the contestants but he has opted out due to a leg injury.”
Another source tells Pinkvilla, that Samart is going to his hometown as his contract is terminated. "His contract has been terminated and he is going to his hometown. He won't even be a part of the press meet that has been scheduled for today along with the other contestants," the source was quoted as saying. If reports are to be believed, Samarth might join the show later as a wild card contestant.
If he joins as a wild card entry, this will be his second reality show, where he will appear as a wild card entry. For people who are unaware, Samarth Jurel came as a wild card entry in the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 17. He gained a lot of attention through his journey on the show for his affair with Isha Malviya and fights with Abhishek Kumar.
The other contestants on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ are some well-known names including Krishna Shroff, Abhishek Kumar, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Karan Veer Mehra, Shalin Bhanot, Gashmeer Mahajani, Kedar Aashish Mehrotraa, Aditi Sharma, Niyati Fatnani and Sumona Chakravarti.
