Sambhlo Chho? trailer: Witness a compilation of stories passed on from generations

The trailer of Oho Gujarati’s latest offering, Sambhlo Chho, was unveiled on its YouTube channel recently. The approximately one-minute long clip gives us a fair glimpse of what the show will be all about.

Sambhlo Chho will look into narrating stories which have been passed down from generation to generation. They include some classic Gujarati tales as well.

Performers Abhinay Banker, Nisarg Trivedi, Aarti Patel, Mayur Chauhan Aka Michael, Ojas Rawal, Happy Nayak, Kalpana Gagdekar, Prem Gadhavi, Chetan Daiya, Ankit Gor, Vaishak Ratanben, Rahul Raval, Mansi Shah, Gopal Hari, Saumya Thaker, Darshil Damanii, Navid Kadri, Ravi Gohil, Sohni Bhatt, and Nilesh Parmar have come together on a single platform to narrate the tales passed down through generations. The various plotlines which will be narrated are adapted from poet Jharverchand Meghani’s stories.

The stories narrated would be - Sadashiv Tapali, Rama Ne Shu Sujhyu (What was Rama thinking), Rohini, Badmaash, and Burai Na Dwaar Par Thi (From the gates of evil).

The series is helmed by Gaurang Kabira and produced by Tatsat Munshi, Nayan Jain, Abhishek Jain, Amit Desai and Suryadeep Basiya.

The OTT platform Oho Gujarati, which has launched recently, has released two web shows so far. They launched their app with Pratik Gandhi-starrer web series Vitthal Teedi. The show is expected to have a sequel. Within a week of Vitthal Teedi’s release, Aarti Patel and Aarohi’s Kadak Meethi also started streaming on the platform. Sambhlo Chho will be their third original offering.

Interestingly, Aarti has been part of all of the three Oho Gujarati original shows. While she had a cameo appearance in Vitthal Teedi, Kadak Meethi was a show where she played the lead role of a mother to her real-life daughter Aarti. The actress plays a significant part in Sambhlo Chho as well.
