Sammathame: Here's when you can watch the teaser of the Kiran Abbavaram, Chandini Chowdary starrer

Sammathame, the urban romantic comedy starring Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary, has hogged the limelight recently for its attractive on-screen chemistry between its leads and the catchy numbers by composer Shekar Chandra. Written and directed by debutant Gopinath Reddy, the promos of the film have promised a pleasant family entertainer with a dash of romance. Produced by Praveena Kankanala under UG Productions, the film's release date was announced recently - June 24.

In the lead up to the film's release, the makers of Sammathame launched a quirky promotional video where the team behind the film including its director Gopinath Reddy, actor Kiran Abbavaram are at a temple. Just when a priest is about to close the temple premises, the team asks him to wait, adding that they need help to finalise the muhurtam for the film. When the priest wonders where the male lead of the film is seated, Kiran Abbavaram appears in a dhoti and sits in front of the former. 

The priest assumes that the team is here to finalise for the launch date of the film when the director confirms that the filming is already complete. Later, the priest requests Kiran Abbavaram to consider his name for the launch event of his upcoming film too. The actor says that the release date for a film has become more crucial than the launch in the recent past. While they finalise May 1 as the teaser launch date, June 24 is announced as the film release date. They play around the word 'Sammathame' in the middle of the discussion.

Kiran Abbavaram and Chandini Chowdary play corporate employees in the film. The technical crew for Sammathame includes cinematographer Sateesh Reddy Masam, editor Viplav Nyshadam, art director Sudheer Macharla, to name a few. Bullet La and Krishna and Sathyabhama are the two songs from Sammathame that have been launched already. The post-production formalities of the project are progressing at an impressive pace.
