Sana Saeed reveals that she met fiance Csaba Wagner on a dating app

Sana Saeed, popularly known as Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, recently made headlines when she posted a video of her engagement to her American boyfriend Csaba Wagner. The actor took to Instagram on January 1, 2023, to share a glimpse from her magical proposal. She has now revealed how she met Csaba and the relationship that she shares with his family.

Csaba is an American citizen from Hungary, and Sana revealed in an interview with Times of India that she met him on a dating app. She also added that she has met his family virtually, but speaks with them mostly in sign language, since they speak Hungarian.

She is yet to meet Csaba’s family. Hungary shares a border with Ukraine and it is difficult to fly there due to the current crisis. But the couple hopes to soon visit India to meet Sana’s parents, who she says are thrilled with their engagement.

Sana shared the engagement video on New Year’s day. In the video, the couple is twinning in black and Sana looks visibly shocked when Csaba went down on his knees to propose to her. Sana later posted pictures in which she showed off her engagement ring. The couple has always been open about their relationship and Sana had also shared a selfie in March with Csaba, with the caption, “Happy birthdayyyy to the best man in my world. I loveeee you berry much.”

Sana, who is studying acting and filmmaking in Los Angeles, met Csaba, a sound designer, after her friends pushed her to try dating apps. In the interview, she also revealed that they share a mutual admiration for cinema and movies.

Sana rose to fame as a child actor in the role of Anjali in Karan Johar’s 1998 directorial, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol in lead roles. She made a comeback in 2012 with Student of the Year, alongside Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
