Sanak’s O Yaara Dil Lagana song: Vidyut Jammwal-Rukmini Maitra groove on the romantic party anthem

O Yaara Dil Lagana is the first song to drop from Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming film Sanak. Rendered by Stebin Ben & Deeksha Toor, the peppy track is written by Manoj Yadav and Sameer Anjaan, while Chirantan Bhatt & Nadeem - Shravan have composed it.

The Kanishk Varma directorial also stars the Bengali actress- Rukmini Maitra as the leading lady of the film and marks her Bollywood debut as well.

O Yaara Dil Lagana is the latest version of the song of the same name from the 1996 film Agni Sakshi, which stars Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar and Manisha Koirala.

The energetic visuals and Adil Shaikh’s choreography in the video of the song will make your body groove on it. O Yaara Dil Lagana features the duo in gorgeous avatars. Jammwal can be seen smitten by Maitra, as they sing and tap their feet to the music.

The action star of Bollywood shared the latest track on his Instagram and wrote “Our first song #OYaaraDilLagaana out now. . .

#Sanak Streaming from 15th October only on @disneyplushotstar #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex (sic).”

Sanak, which is backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah along with Zee Studios and Sunshine Pictures, was announced at the beginning of this year. It marks the Shah and Jammwal’s fifth partnership after Force and the Commando series.

Besides directing, Varna has also written the script of the film that has Neha Dhupia and Chandran Roy Sanyal in supporting roles.

Sanak reportedly went on floors in January this year, and the team completed the shoot in March.

The film is set to release on October 15 on Disney+ Hotstar.
