Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release has been doing exceptionally well at the box office. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane, the film has earned double its original lifetime run already. Amid this, an interview featuring Rane discussing a deleted scene of the film has surfaced and fans demanded to include it.
During an interview with Bollywood Friday, Harshvardhan Rane was asked to share one scene or clip that was deleted from the movie.
The actor said that one song by Arijit Singh, Main Teri Yaadon Mein was not included in the album initially but was added later. Further remembering, Harshvardhan said that there was a deleted scene of the film as well.
He continued that when Saru was coming down while speaking on the phone and Inder was coming on her way carrying bread and milk, she was disturbed because a groom's family was coming to see her. When Inder saw Saru was looking troubled, he took her phone and it accidentally slipped in the gap between the floor and the elevator. That is why in the next scene, Saru is seen without her phone.
Reacting to it, one fan commented, "Yes i noticed that and was thinking ki phone kahan gaya." Another said, "we needed that scene." A third fan said, "They should have kept that scene."
"Finally, I was wondering where the heck that phone goes," a fourth fan said. "He finally answered my question The mystery of phone is solved I can sleep peacefully tonight," one of the comments read.
Nine years back when it was originally released, Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane's Sanam Teri Kasam had earned Rs. 9 crore and was declared a flop. But the re-release changed the scenario completely. Sanam Teri Kasam has earned over double of its original lifetime run and it has collected Rs. 18.50 crore by day 4.
Meanwhile, Sanam Teri Kasam tells the story of a love between Inder, a rebellious and tough ex-convict, and Saraswati (Saru), a shy librarian who is considered an outcast by her family.
