Sandeep Madhav's Gandharwa to release in 500 theatres across the globe

Actor Sandeep Madhav, who gained popularity with his roles in films like Vangaveeti and George Reddy, is gearing up for a grand release of his next film as a solo lead, Gandharwa. The film, written and directed by Apsar, is all set to release in theatres on July 8. Gayathri R Suresh and Sheetal Bhatt play the female leads in the action entertainer bankrolled by Subhani (on behalf of Funny Fox Entertainment) is being distributed by noted journalist, producer Suresh Kondeti under SK Films.

In times when small films are struggling to get theatres and draw eyeballs, it's indeed commendable that Suresh Kondeti is releasing Gandharwa in over 500 theatres across the globe. The film, apart from releasing in Telugu states, will open in Bengaluru and select international locations as well. The makers have organised several preview shows for the fraternity and have received flattering feedback for the film.

"The film will definitely exceed expectations and Telugu viewers will get to watch a never-seen-before emotional plot," the team is confident. Rap Rock Shakeel has scored the music for the film which has cinematography by Jawahar Reddy. Edited by Baswa Pydi Reddy, Gandharwa's songs have been choregraphed by Jd. Sai Kumar, Posani Krishna Murali, Babu Mohan, Suresh play key roles in the film.

Gandharwa revolves around an army officer who departs for war duty, much to the disappointment of his wife. However, many years later, an affair between a lookalike of the army officer and an elderly woman is the talk of the town. Many keep wondering how can two persons from different generations resemble one another. How is this mystery resolved? Some of the other releases on July 8 include Kondavidu, Happy Birthday.
