Sandeepa Dhar all set to star in Imtiaz Ali's upcoming web series

Sandeepa Dhar has been roped in to star in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming web series. The series is directed by Archit and Laila Majnu director Sajid Ali.

The yet-to-be-titled web show will reportedly fall in the comedy genre and will mark Sandeepa’s first time collaborating with the Rockstar director.

Talking about the collaboration Sandeepa revealed that, like most actors, she too considered it an incredible opportunity to be a part of a project directed by Imtiaz. The Heropanti actress had nothing but good things to say about the filmmaker. She called him someone who is able to bring out the best in the people he works with. His characters too, she said, come alive so vividly on screen that they stay with the viewers for a very long time.

Regarding landing the role on the current web series, the actress said that she was always on the lookout for unique roles that stand out and the ones she thinks viewers would always remember.

Sandeepa also revealed that they had finished filming major portions of the web series and how thrilled she was at getting the opportunity to collaborate with the filmmaker. She also expressed her excitement and eagerness to bring the show to audiences soon.

The actress is perhaps best known for being a part of the movies Isi Life Mein and Heropanti, the former of which was her film debut. Meanwhile, Imtiaz has hits to his name such as Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar.
