Sandipta Sen opens up about her recent Thailand trip

Sandipta Sen spent 15 years in the Bengali television industry. She debuted in Star Jalsa’s serial Durga. Now she is working regularly in OTT and the big screen also. There are also lots of speculations about her personal life which she never kept private. 

Sandipta has been in a relationship with Soumya Mukherjee, a higher official in Hoichoi. Last month, the actress spent her birthday by taking a trip to Thailand with her Soumya and friends. 

The actress told the Hindustan Times, “Yes we had the trip. Goutam and Srija are our friends. Their two-year-old daughter Megha was also with us. It was a fabulous trip. We went to many places and saw a lot. There was rain. We swam in the mid-sea in the rain. I saw plankton for the first time.” 

Sandipta's Instagram profile shows several Thailand photos and reel videos. Sandipta said, “Soumya is my special photographer. He is always special to me.” Are they getting married this year? Sandipta replied, “No. When I was not in any relationship, people used to ask me when I would fall in love. Now I am seeing someone and people ask when I will marry. Everyone will know when I marry, but that is not now.” 

About her comeback to television, she said, “I will return, but not now. I know there is a lot of fake news regarding my comeback. I took a break from television at this moment.” 

Sandipta will soon be seen in Bodhon 2. She was last seen in the Hoichoi series Nostoneer. She also made her debut in cinema with the film The Eken: Ruddhoswas Rajasthan.
