What does Sangamarmar’s official announcement look like?
Sangamarmar, featuring Sourabh Raaj and Sheen Dass in the lead roles, is officially announced with a promo shared by the makers. The web series is unveiled much like a TV series. It has romance at the core, with teasing and rose petals flying in the air. Of course, there’s also the cliched Holi festival celebration with his face covered in gulaal colour. Red coloured balloons, pillow fights and all the cliches that make a romantic saga are used in the teaser clip. “Log sahi kehte hai – behind every successful woman, there is an understanding man,” the female voice is heard stating as we see their matured selves take a walk around, no guesses, the ultimate monument of love in India, Taj Mahal. In fact, the title Sangamarmar is also engraved on a white marble design (called Sangamarmar in Hindi) that seems to resemble India’s only monument to make it to 7 Wonders of the World.

Featuring Sourabh Raaj (famous for playing Lord Krishna in the TV show Mahabharat) and Sheen Dass (a part of Manav Kaul’s web series Tanaav) in the lead roles, Sangamarmar is produced by Rajshri Productions and directed by Vikram Ghai. It features Khalid Siddiqui and Smita Bansal as Sheen’s parents. Barrister Babu-famed child artist Veda Agrawal plays her sister in the web show. The series is shot in Agra and was expected to start streaming in March 2024 (on JioCinema at the time). Now, the series will be available for streaming on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium).
