Sanghasri Sinha Mitra to team up with Riteish Deshmukh and others for a Hindi web series

Be it Le Chakka or Dabaru or Bengali television’s Jol Thoi Thoi Bhalobasha, Sanghasri Sinha Mitra has won people’s hearts in films and serials. Now, the actress will make her debut in a Hindi web series, Pill, also starring Ritiesh Deshmukh. How did she get the offer?

The series will be streamed on Jio Platform. Sanghasri told the media that she got the offer from Mumbai. A call was coming repeatedly to her phone but she did not take it, disturbing her afternoon nap. At last, she had to take the call. The caller told her about her character. She was once Rajesh Sharma’s manager and she thought that the offer was made for this reason. But the misunderstanding was cleared in no time. Sanghasri understood that she was offered a role in the web series, directed by Rajkumar Gupta.

Sanghasri initially could not believe this. She was asked to send a recorded video for the audition. The actress’ husband helped her to do that. Then also she did not believe that she would be selected. Then the call came on her mother’s birthday. She sadly took the call and then got the good news that she would act as a doctor. She was chosen among five hundred and fifty people.

Sanghasri said that her first shot was with Ritiesh Deshmukh, who appeared as a down-to-earth person to her. The actress also said that the respect character artists get in Mumbai is endowed here only by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee. “The rest do not consider the character actors as human beings,” she said.
