Sanjay Dutt announces new film with Arshad Warsi; Another part of the Munna Bhai franchise on the way?

Sanjay Dutt has announced a new film with his Munna Bhai MBBS co-star Arshad Warsi and we couldn't keep calm. However, during the announcement, the actor has not unveiled the name yet and has requested the fans to wait. Meanwhile, most of the Munna Bhai movie series admirers are anticipating it to be a third of part of the comedy-drama flick.

Dutt took to his official Instagram handle and dropped a poster interesting poster featuring him posing alongside Warsi, while both standing helplessly yet savagely behind the bars. The actor shared the new image with a quirky caption that reads, "Our wait has been longer than yours but the wait is finally over, coming together with my brother @arshad_warsi for yet another exciting movie... A lot of Dutt fans are expecting the upcoming film to be Munna Bhai Chale America, which got cancelled in 2007.

Meanwhile, the anticipation of the upcoming film to be the third part of the iconic comedy-drama franchise still seems a tad bit dicey as Munna Bhai MBBS, as well as Lage Raho Munna Bhai, have been directed by Rajkumar Hirani, while according to the Dutt's latest announcement, the director for the forthcoming venture is yet to be informed. 

The untitled film is produced by Dutt himself under 3 Dimension Motion Pictures. It is slated to unleash in 2023 in theatres, while the release date is yet to be announced.

On the other work front, Dutt is currently busy filming The Good Maharaja, Ghudchadi too as well as gearing up for his Tamil debut with Thalapathy 67, while Warsi is working on the crime-drama series, Asur 2.
