The shooting of the film was halted for quite some time after this unfortunate incident.

Fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the injuries are said to be minor. The thorough professional that he is, Sanjay resumed shooting after receiving some first aid.

Sanjay plays the antagonist in KD - The Devil, which is directed by Prem. Dhruva Sarja will be seen in a brand-new avatar in the multi-starrer film that sees Shilpa Shetty making a return to Kannada films after the 2005 Upendra-starrer Auto Shankar.
