Hindi actor Sanjay Dutt, who was recently in Chennai to take part in the teaser launch event of his upcoming film KD- The Devil, had expressed his disappointment with Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. The actor, had particularly taken the Coolie director’s name, and it is to do with the film they worked together. Keep reading to know what Sanjay Dutt had to say.
Sanjay Dutt expresses disappointment with Lokesh Kanagaraj
At the event of KD- The Devil, Sanjay Dutt who is part of the cast, was present along with his team. During the press interaction, he was asked about his rapport with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, to which Sanjay answered that he respects them a lot.
"They are my seniors and I look up to them. I have worked with Rajini sir in Hindi movies in multiple film. He is humble. I have worked with Thalapathy Vijay and I have loved it. I am angry with Lokesh because he did not give me a big role in Leo. He wasted me, but anyways, I love Ajith sir as well,” he said.
For those who don’t know, Sanjay Dutt played a role in Vijay-starrer Leo, and was one of the antagonists. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, his role was limited. However, Sanjay Dutt expressed interest and said he is looking forward to watching Coolie, which is directed by Lokesh and is headlined by Rajinikanth.

Sanjay Dutt, who was last seen in Housefull 5, has a few films lined up. He is part of Ranveer Singh's upcoming film Dhurandhar, and has Prabhas' Telugu horror comedy film The Raja Saab. Sanjay Dutt is also part of Akhanda 2, the Telugu sequel featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role.
Meanwhile, KD is KD – The Devil is directed by Prem and features Dhruva Sarja, Shilpa Shetty, Ramesh Aravind, Nora Fatehi and others. The period action drama is set against the backdrop of the 70s and will explore the Bengaluru’s underbelly during the era.
