The excitement for Jitendra Kumar’s Panchayat season 3 was already at an all-time high when Ali Fazal said that the show has a hint for Mirzapur season 3 hidden. Naturally, every fan was curious to find out what that was. Thus, Panchayat 3 became the most-viewed show of the week. This is according to a list unveiled by Ormax Media for the week of May 24-30. Panchayat 3 managed to beat the undefeated Sanjay Leela Bhansali-helmed Heeramandi as the top OTT original.
Panchayat season 3 pushes Heeramandi down one spot
Panchayat season 3 released with a big twist. It is associated with Mirzapur in more ways than one. This got netizens curious, and the show became the most viewed. It even beat Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-spoken-about, Heeramandi.
The Boys season 4 in top 5
Vijay Raaz’s Murder In Mahim made it to top three. Ritvik Sahore’s Jamnapaar, streaming on Amazon MiniTV, maintained its rank among top five. It came fourth on the list this week. The Boys season 4, among the newer entrants on the list too, ranked fifth. The series will be out on Amazon Prime Video in less than two weeks.
Where Gullak 4, Illegal 3 rank
Legend of Hanuman season 4, slated to release on OTT in four days, missed top five by one rank. Gullak season 4, which will be out on June 7 on SonyLIV, ranked seventh on the list. Illegal season 3, also out recently, came ninth. Baahubali: Crown of Blood, out on OTT now, came eighth, while Bridgerton season 3 stayed afloat on number 10.
Other releases
Sweet Tooth season 3 will also be out this week. The show releases on June 6 on Netflix. Interestingly, Bridgerton season 3 part 2 will release when Boys season 4 is out on OTT, i.e. on June 13.
