Sankranthiki Vasthunnam box office collection day 15: Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is Venkatesh's latest film, which has become a blockbuster hit and is set to cross the ₹300-crore mark this week. The Venkatesh starrer has completed 15 days in theaters and has grossed ₹165 crore net worldwide.
On days 14 and 15, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam earned ₹3 crore and ₹2.7 crore, respectively. These are decent numbers, reflecting the film’s strong performance at the box office.
As other Sankranthi 2025 releases have slowed down drastically, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam has gained a new lease on life. The makers have also ensured that the film stays in the news, drawing audiences to theaters for this family drama.
Anil Ravipudi, the mastermind behind the film, delivered a solid narrative that clicked with the audience. Umesh Limaye, who made a cameo appearance in Animal, played a key role in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. The blockbuster songs composed by Bheems Ceciroleo further elevated the film’s appeal.
With Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, Venkatesh has made a strong comeback after the massive failure of his last film, Saindhav. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, Saindhav was released during Sankranthi 2024—a period that didn’t favour dark films. However, Venkatesh planned Sankranthiki Vasthunnam meticulously, leaving no stone unturned to ensure its success. His hilarious performance was a major highlight, impressing audiences across the board.
After a long gap, Telugu audiences finally got to enjoy a clean, entertaining family drama. Producer Dil Raju, who faced losses with Game Changer, has now made three times the investment with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.
The film will soon face competition from Naga Chaitanya's Thandel, which releases on February 7, 2025. It remains to be seen how much Sankranthiki Vasthunnam will collect by the end of its theatrical run.
