Santhanam's Gulu Gulu teaser out; the actor plays a problem solver called Google

The teaser of Santhanam's upcoming comic caper Gulu Gulu was released today. In the teaser, Santhanam is introduced as someone who is an answer to the predicament a bunch of people are in. He is called a mule that can cross countries and an expert when it comes to exchanging things. Santhanam, whose name is said to be Google (who is addressed as Gulu Gulu) is seen in raggedy clothes throughout the teaser and eventually, we see him coming to the rescue of people. Needless to say, he plays a problem solver and hence, the name 'Google'.

The star cast for Gulu Gulu comprises Santhanam, Athulya, Namitha, Pradeep Rawat, Mariyam George, Sai Dheena, 'Lollu Sabha' Maaran, 'Lollu Sabha' Seshu, TSR, Bipin, Mahanathi Shankar, Vichu, Kavi, Harish, Yuvaraj, Introduce 'Mauri Dass', Kaka Gopalm Billy Murali, Sivakumar and Yogiram. The film is directed by Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan and Aadai fame. Music for Gulu Gulu is by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by Philomin Raj. Art direction is handled by Jackie. 

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies will distribute the film in Tamil Nadu, which is all set to hit theatres on July 29. The production house wrote on its social media page, "Delighted to announce that we have acquired the Tamil Nadu Theatrical Distribution rights of #GuluGulu.🎉🤣 The Ultimate laughter and chaos is coming. In cinemas from July 29th.🤩 @iamsanthanam @MrRathna @circleboxE @Music_Santhosh @KVijayKartik @rajnarayanan_ @jacki_art (sic)."

While Sun NXT has acquired the digital rights of Gulu Gulu, Sun TV had bagged the satellite rights. Sun NXT wrote, "Digital rights of Santhanam starrer Gulu Gulu acquired by Sun NXT. @iamsanthanam @MrRathna @circleboxE @Music_Santhosh @KVijayKartik @rajnarayanan_ @jacki_art @SonyMusicSouth @Kirubakaran_AKR @proyuvraaj #GuluGulu #GuluGuluWithSunNXT #SunNXT (sic)."Gulu Gulu is bankrolled by Raj Narayanan. This will be Santhanam's maiden theatrical release of the year.
