Dasaradh, who’s carved a niche in Telugu cinema for his clean family entertainers like Santosham and Mr Perfect, is turning a new leaf in his career. He’s set to turn a producer with a film titled Love You Ream. The film is directed by DY Chowdary, who also co-produces it under Mana Entertainments and Sri Chakra Films. Rohit Behal plays the male lead in the film and Aparna Janardhanan is cast as his female counterpart. The first look and a thematic glimpse of Love You Ram were unveiled today.

VV Vinayak was the chief guest for the first look launch while filmmaker Koratala Siva, who was also invited for it, was conspicuous by his absence. The first-look poster has Aparna, dressed in a traditional avatar, leaning on Rohit’s shoulder, has set the tone well for the promotional campaign. The pleasant theme music and the captivating visuals in the glimpse caught the fascination of attendees and movie buffs alike. Sudhakar Borra (Tennessee) and D Nageswar Rao are the co-producers of Love You Ram.

Love You Ram has screenplay by Kishore Gopu and Shiva Mokka, with Praveen Varma penning the dialogues. Sai Santhosh is the cinematographer while K Vedaa, and SB Uddhav are the composer and the editor respectively. Guru Murali Krishna is the art director. The filming of the feel-good romance has been completed and the post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace. Dasaradh has written the story for the film as well. The makers are yet to announce their release plans.

Benerjee, Pradeep, Kadambari Kiran, Cartoonist Malik, Meer K Dasaradh, DY Chowdary, Prabhavati Varma, Shanti Devagudi, and others form the supporting cast of the film. Dasaradh’s last release as a director was Shourya, starring Manchu Manoj and Regina Cassandra, a film based on honour killing. Meanwhile, Rohit Behal was also seen in the national award winning film Natyam too.
