Kanwaljit Singh recently revealed why he apologized to co-star Sanya Malhotra after watching Mrs. The veteran actor played her father-in-law in the ZEE5 film.

Sanya Malhotra has earned widespread appreciation for her performance in her latest film, Mrs. The Arati Kadav directorial revolves around the life of Richa, a trained dancer, whose life is restricted to doing household chores after marriage. It is a Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam film The Great Indian Kitchen. In a recent interview, Kanwaljit Singh, who plays Sanya's father-in-law in Mrs, revealed he apologized to Malhotra after watching the film.
In an interview with India Today, Kanwaljit Singh shared he was deeply disturbed after watching Mrs. The veteran actor recalled he worked on nearly four projects after Mrs and forgot about his character. The only thing remembered from the shoot was 'eating a lot of food'. However, things changed after he watched the film.
"But when I saw the film, I was so disgusted by my character’s behavior that I immediately went to Sanya and apologized. Sanya was taken aback and asked why I was saying sorry. I told her I had forgotten how much I troubled her character in the film, and it left me feeling awful. She has absolutely nailed the part, and watching her struggle on screen was heartbreaking for all of us," he told the news publication.
For those unaware, Kanwaljit Singh plays the role of Ashwin Kumar in the film. Nishant Dahiya is seen as Sanya aka Richa's husband Diwakar Mrs. The star cast also includes Aparna Ghosal as Meena Kumar, Varun Badola as Tunna Bhaiya, and more.
Meanwhile, Sanya Malhotra expressed happiness over the love and appreciation for Mrs. The actress' film clocked over 250 million watch minutes in a few days of its OTT release. She posted a thank you note on Instagram, which read, "To everyone who has watched Mrs felt for Richa and embraced her journey thank you from the bottom of my heart (sic)."
