Filmmaker Hemanth M Rao’s Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is currently trending on social media and for all the right reasons, what with everyone who has seen the first instalment of his two-part love story, having only good things to say about it. Led by Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, this heart-achingly beautiful tale of love released in theatres today, but also had a few paid premieres last night. Rakshit, Rukmini and Hemanth joined their friends from the industry for one such, where they got a lot of love.

Rakshit’s good pal Rishab Shetty, who is preparing for his next, Kantara 2, took time off to watch Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side A with his wife Pragati. Rishab described Rakshit’s role as Manu as his career best, adding that Rukmini is a talent to look out for and an asset for the Kannada film industry. The third member of the RRR gang, Raj B Shetty was also at this show and he said that watching Sapta Sagaradaache Ello was like reading a good novel or poem.

Chaithra J Achar, who will be seen in Side B of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello put up a long post on social media, professing her love for the entire team – cast and crew – and how beautiful the film has turned out to be. Nobin Paul, who did the music of Rakshit’s last film 777 Charlie called SSE an exquisite example of cinematic artistry. Vikrant Rona maker Anup Bhandari was appreciated of the fact that in an era of elevations and goosebumps, Hemanth and Rakshit had made a film that is pure heart and soul. His brother and actor Nirup chorused that and added SSE is poetry.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is a story that Hemanth has been wanting to bring to the big screen for over a decade. Presented in two parts, the second instalment will be in theatres 7 weeks later on October 20. The film will have stiff competition at the box office, what with Shivarajkumar’s Ghost, Vijay’s Leo, Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageshwara Rao and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Bhagvanth Kesari releasing on the same day.
