Filmmaker Hemanth M Rao has just dropped the first song from his upcoming two-part film, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello. Composed by music magician Charanraj, the track, Horaata, which features rapper MC Bijju and Keerthan Holla’s vocals, is a catchy number that will have you grooving to the beat. Written by Bijju along with Kiran Kaverappa, Horaata’s official description has it as a rap through the shadows of pain and resilience!

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is Charanraj’s third collaboration with Hemanth, after Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu and Kavaludaari, both of which had immensely popular songs and background scores. Going by how catchy Horaata is, Charanraj seems set for a hattrick with Hemanth, as far as great music goes.

Hemanth’s second collaboration with leading man Rakshit Shetty, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, in the filmmaker’s words, is an intense love story, which is a first for him and the actor. In fact, Hemanth is presenting this tale in two parts, 50 days apart, with the first slated to be in theatres on September 1, and the second on October 20. The film pairs Rakshit with Rukmini Vasanth and Chaithra J Acha, with the narrative spanning across a 10-year period. Rakshit has two massively different looks in the film, one of which required him to put on a lot of weight, as well as sport a battle scar on his face, hinting that the ‘intense’ bit of the love story may involve action. Each part of Sapta Sagaradaache Ello will be around 2 hours and 15 – 20 minutes long, the filmmaker had revealed.

This film, Hemanth has been quoted as saying, was meant to be his debut as a filmmaker – a story he wrote immediately after assisting on the late Puneeth Rajkumar’s Prithvi, in the hope of casting the Power Star in it. While things didn’t fall in place back then, Hemanth now believes that it was better that way as Sapta Sagaradaache Ello has, in his words, evolved and become far more poetic than it was when he first write it.
