Sara Ali Khan confirms brother Ibrahim Ali Khan’s Bollywood debut as an actor

Sara Ali Khan had been celebrating her debut in Kedarnath (released in 2018) not too long ago. Now, she has revealed that her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan is also making his acting debut in Bollywood soon. She did not spill all the details but definitely confirmed his debut.

The actress, who made her Cannes 2023 debut, shared the news with Film Companion there. She said that Ibrahim finished shooting his first film as an actor.

Sara could not believe that her ‘Iggy Potter’ is about to become an actor. She further shared her and mommy Amrita Singh’s reaction to Ibrahim coming home after a long day of shoot. “Whenever he comes home, whether it is from school or from shoot, we both have this extremely loving and like, this attitude towards him and that is when I realised, I do have the heart of my mother. Because we do treat Ibrahim very similarly,” she said.

Reportedly, Ibrahim has signed his debut film with Dharma Productions. His movie is titled Sarzameen, which is an emotional thriller.

The film went on floors in the end of February. Kajol is also a part of the film. She is paired opposite Prithviraj.

Prior to becoming an actor, Ibrahim was an assistant director. He had assisted Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.

The release date for Ibrahim’s film is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Sara is gearing up for her next movie with Vicky Kaushal. Titled Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, the movie is slated to release in theatres on June 2.
