Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan is all set to appear in Amazon miniTV's courtroom comedy show titled Case Toh Banta Hai. On the show, Sara will be seen flaunting her sense of humour with multiple one-liners.

In the upcoming episode of Case Toh Banta Hai, lawyer Riteish Deshmukh and Judge Kusha Kapila will be seen levying lots of weird and atrangi accusations on the actress and Sara will be punching them back with her witty one-liners one after another.

A press statement from the makers of the show also informs that one of the comics, Paritosh Tripathi, called for action against Sara's sassy attitude. The actress was quick to respond by saying, "If I go to jail, I will get bail, you see, I will not fail," in her signature poetry recitation style.

The actress had a gala time shooting for the show. When asked about her experience on Case Toh Banta Hai, Sara mentioned that she'd watched the show earlier and always wanted to be part of it because she finds the concept of courtroom comedy interesting.

Sara also said in the press statement, "I think the Atrangi humour and jokes are totally my cup of tea. The whole team of this show truly help humour come to life."

On the work front, Sara was last seen in the Aanand L Rai film Atrangi Re which released on Disney+Hotstar. She will soon be seen in Laxman Utekar's next directorial venture. The actress also has Gaslight up her sleeve.

Those who're uninitiated, Case Toh Banta Hai is a weekly comedy show. It also features actor Varun Sharma as a public prosecutor alongside Riteish and Kusha as defence lawyer and judge respectively. The show also features comedians like - Paritosh Tripathi, Gopal Dutt, Sanket Bhosale, and Sugandha Mishra.

Every week the show invites Bollywood actors to the witness box and then the fun begins. So far, the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Badshah, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor among others have already appeared in the show. Buzz is that filmmakers like Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are also likely to appear soon.

The new episode of Case Toh Banta Hai releases on September 1 on Amazon miniTV.
