"With such glowing reviews and word of mouth, the film should make good collections, but the audience has stayed away from the film," says the analyst.

Indraganti, who has made hit films like Ashta Chamma and Gentleman in the past, has given a few flops in the last few years. So he turned to comedy, which is his strength, and made Sarangapani Jathakam. All those who saw the film have only loved Sarangapani Jathakam, but the occupancy is falling with each passing show.

Loser and Pelli Choopulu fame Priyadarshi, whose last film Court-State vs. A Nobody was a smash hit, has failed to bring in crowds with Sarangapani Jathakam. This is a bit surprising, as Sarangapani Jathakam is a clean comedy that the entire family can watch together. Once the weekdays start, the occupancy will fall further.
Amazon Prime has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price, and looking at the way the film is faring at the box office, one can expect an early OTT release for this film, which has been produced by Sridevi Movies.
