Saravanan Arul makes his social media entry ahead of The Legend release

Businessman Saravanan Arul, who is all set to make his acting debut with The Legend, has made his social media entry ahead of the film's release. The film is all set have a pan-Indian release in five languages on July 28. Making his debut on social media, the businessman and actor wrote, "Delighted to enter the world of social media & meet you all! Equally thrilled to present #Saravedi the trailer of my film #TheLegend Dir by @DirJdjerry @Jharrisjayaraj musical!! #TheLegend will release in a whopping 2500+ theatres worldwide on July 28!! #TheLegend #DrSTheLegend (sic)."

The film is directed by JD-Jerry and marks Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela's debut in Tamil. Saravanan Arul's social media entry is considered to give the promotions of the film, a leg-up. Meanwhile, the film is gearing up to hit screens in over 2,500 theatres across the world. The teaser and trailers were released recently and going by them, it looks like Saravanan plays a scientist, who has returned to his hometown from abroad, to look after the welfare of the people there. Urvashi is said to be playing a microbiologist. The theatrical rights of the film have been said to have sold for a huge price. 

The star cast includes Nassar, Prabhu, Suman, Imman Annachi, and Yashika Anand. Harris Jayaraj is said to be making his comeback of sorts in the film. The ace music composer had shared yesterday that he was wrapping up the background score for the film. Harris Jayaraj hasn't had a Tamil release in the last three years and this has piqued the curiosity and expectations among the audience. The film also has the credit of being the last album of singer KK in Tamil. The song Konji Konji is a duet sung by Shreya Ghoshal and KK, who passed away recently.
