Saravanan Arul's The Legend arrives with a bang, storms to No.1 position on Disney+ Hotstar

Entrepreneur Saravanan Arul's maiden venture, The Legend, has stormed the OTT space with a bang. The film, which hit screens worldwide on July 28, 2022, dropped on OTT on March 3 and since then fans have been watching the film widely. While some have trolled the film, a few others have stated that the film is not really as bad as it is perceived to be. Many have praised the stunt sequences, the cinematography in the film, and the song and dance sequences.

Though Saravanan's acting skills might draw a blank, the film nevertheless, seems to have managed to enthral the audiences as a package. The Legend was released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Saravanan Arul, in the meantime, has announced that The Legend has stormed to No.1 position on the OTT platform.

The makers of The Legend had delayed the film's OTT release as Saravanan Arul just didn't want to provide the film to any digital platform. The film had a grand release. But the makers surprised the audience last week when they stated that the film was all set for its OTT release. The plot of The Legend revolves around a scientist, who returns to his hometown to work for the welfare of his people, but vested interests there do not allow him to perform his duty. It also has a serious storyline on how nefarious organizations in the medical field want people to stay dependent on medicines, while the protagonist of the story fights against it.

The star cast for the film includes Urvashi Rautela, Geethika Tiwary, Yogi Babu, Vivek, Prabhu, Suman, Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, Mayilsamy, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, Rahul Dev, Munishkanth, Devadarshini to name a few. The film marks the comeback of Harris Jayaraj in Tamil cinema. While the cinematography is by R Velraj, editing is by Ruben. The film is bankrolled by Saravana Productions.
