Sardaar Ji is back! The third installment of this much-loved Punjabi film will be out in cinemas sooner than you think. Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa (Jatt & Juliet 3), who have played the leads in the movie franchise so far are back, and they have unveiled the big news with a spooky poster. Sardaar Ji 3 confirmed

Diljit and Neeru unveiled the spooky poster of Sardaar Ji 3 to confirm that the third installment is not just ready but will be out in theatres soon. The poster confirms that the movie will release in cinemas on June 27. However, the OTT release date and platform remain unclear thus far.

Sardaar Ji 3's Chorii 2 connection

One look at Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 poster will prove to you how it is connected to Chhorii 2 (available for streaming on Prime Video). The film is associated with the very cult that Soha Ali Khan-Nushrratt Bharuccha's film was based on. Of course, Sardaar Ji 3 and Chhorii 2 are of the different genre. It is to be noted that back in Sardaar Ji 2, Diljit Dosanjh’s Jaggi (a farmer) travelled abroad and got mired into the world of crime. Thus, it became a crime-comedy thriller. This time, it appears that this fun-loving chap will face real-world horrors instead, thus leading the film to the horror-comedy genre.

Although Neeru Bajwa kept the news hidden, Diljit barely could. He surprised his fans further by confirming that the teaser of his upcoming Punjabi film will release soon. What can you expect?
