Sardar Ka Grandson trailer promises another family entertainer by Arjun Kapoor

The trailer of Sardar Ka Grandson is out and it promises to be yet another family entertainer starring Arjun Kapoor. The movie, which has a fantastic ensemble cast that includes Rakul Preet Singh, Neena Gupta, Soni Razdan, Aditi Rao Hydari, John Abraham, and Divya Seth in pivotal roles, is set to release on May 18 on Netflix.

The film, directed by Kaashvie Nair, tells the story of a US-returnee (Kapoor) who wants to fulfill his grandmother's (Gupta) wish to visit her ancestral home in Lahore, Pakistan. In the trailer, the makers also reveal of glimpse of Hydari and Abraham, who portray the younger versions of the grandparents in the film. Further, it reveals that because the grandmother can't visit Pakistan, her grandson promises her to bring her entire ancestral house to India. The plan seems to be filled with challenges, hopefully making it for an entertaining watch.

Before the trailer release, Kapoor shared a cute video on Instagram consisting of photos of the cast and crew from their younger years. 

The video starts with a vintage pocket watch rewinding itself before a photo album is opened, with the caption, “Memory takes us to all kinds of places.” The album begins with Hydari and ends with a cute photo of Razdan sitting with daughter Alia Bhatt. 

Sharing a memory of her photo, Preet said that the photo is from the day her father took her for her first swimming session.
