Sarkaru Vaari Paata box office collection Day 3: Mahesh Babu’s movie crosses Rs. 100 crore mark in no time

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata hit theatres around the country after much fanfare and the movie has done impressively well at the box office. The action entertainer, which was released on May 12, has already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark. 

As reported by film industry tracker Manobala Vijayabalan, the movie has hit the milestone mark in a matter of just two days. Sarkaru Vaari Paata earned Rs. 75.21 crore on the first day and ₹ 27.50 crore on its second day, taking the grand total to Rs. 102.71 crore. The movie reportedly also had a great opening in the US box office, collecting $1 million (Rs 7.73 crore). 

Vijayabalan also tweeted, “TERRIFIC Saturday for #SarkaruVaariPaata at the box office.The film is reporting huge numbers.” 

Apart from Babu in the lead, the movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in crucial roles. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is backed by Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus. It is helmed by Parasuram. The movie, which is centered around the conflict between a finance agent and a woman who cons him, received mixed reactions from the critics, following its release. 

“Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a mixed fare. It can neither be termed a disappointment nor an outright winner. If you're able to navigate past the film's fragile second hour, chances are that you'll be entertained. Mahesh Babu's fans will get everything they anticipate from their star but don't expect anything in the range of a Dookudu or a Pokiri,” reads the movie’s review on OTTplay. 

The movie, which has music composed by S. Thaman, is now available in theatres near you.
