Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh starrer nears completion but for a song shoot

After facing multiple delays and release postponements, it looks like Sarkaru Vaari Paata is finally nearing completion and is set to release on May 12, as per schedule. The film starring Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh in the lead is written and directed by Parasuram Petla and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus. The makers confirmed today that the filming of Sarkaru Vaari Paata is complete but for a song shoot.

The shoot of the only pending song in Sarkaru Vaari Paata will commence soon and the team plans to intensify the promotional campaign, given the film is only a month away from its theatrical release. There will be a flurry of updates about the film in the coming days, the makers assure. Several promotional events are set to be organised across the Telugu states shortly, we hear. Two songs from the film, which has music by S Thaman, are already - Penny and Kalavaathi, with both of them turning out to be chartbusters. 

While Kalavaathi was a haunting melody sung by Sid Sriram, Penny marked the first-ever appearance of Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni in a music video. The film is touted to be an out-and-out commercial entertainer with adequate doses of action, romance and humour for audiences. Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju also play important roles in the entertainer. Renowned cinematographer R Madhie is part of the crew which also comprises Marthand K Venkatesh and AS Prakash as the editor and the art director respectively.

Stunt director duo Ram-Laxman has choreographed the action sequences. Vijaya Ram Prasad is the co-director and Raj Kumar is the line producer. Amazon Prime Video has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights.
