Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Music video for Kalaavathi featuring Mahesh Babu released ahead of Valentine's Day

A music video for Sarkaru Vaari Paata's song 'Kalaavathi' featuring Mahesh Babu and Keethy Suresh was released today, ahead of Valentine's Day (February 14). This is the first song from the film. 

Composer Thaman SS, singer Sid Sriram and the musical troupe accompanying them are also present, all dressed in traditional getups, in this video. A press release describes 'Kalaavathi', written by lyricist Ananta Sriram, as a "magical" and "perfect" track that will be popular among fans and top music charts.

In the video, the two lead actors are seen together on elaborate sets with backup dancers matching the colourful background. While Mahesh Babu is dressed casually in a hoodie and jeans, Keerthy Suresh dazzles in different sarees. 

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is among the biggest and most highly anticipated Telugu releases of this year. Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju also star. 

Written and directed by Parasuram, it is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta via Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus banners.

R Madhi is the cinematographer while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and AS Prakash is the art director. 

Sarkaaru Vaari Paata will be out in cinemas on May 12.
