Sarkaru Vaari Paata: Penny, the second single from the Mahesh Babu, Keerthy Suresh starrer will be out on this day!

It has been two years since Mahesh Babu has had a film release, all thanks to the pandemic and this has made fans all the more eager to watch his upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The film written and directed by Solo, Geetha Govindam filmmaker Parasuram Petla will hit theatres on May 12, after a series of postponements. The film is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus.

We all know how popular the first song from the film, Kalaavathi, sung by Sid Sriram, turned out to be, crossing over 90 million views, aiming at the 100-million mark soon. The makers have announced today that the film's second single, titled Penny, will be releasing this weekend on March 20. An intense Mahesh Babu is seen in the announcement poster. No wonder the expectations from the song are very high, particularly after the success of Kalaavathi in addition to the popularity of Thaman.

The highly anticipated film is currently being shot in Hyderabad and the production work has more or less neared completion. The team is going all out with the promotions, releasing songs and promos nearly 2-3 months away from its theatrical release and it truly reflects the confidence they have in their product. R Madhi is the cinematographer of the film and film's crew includes editor Marthand K Venkatesh, art director AS Prakash, to name a few. 

S Thaman composes music for the film while Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju and others essay crucial roles as well. Saregama has acquired the music rights for the same. In an interview, Mahesh called Sarkaru Vaari Paata, a Puri Jagannadh-styled film with loads of entertainment for audiences.
