SarTik are back! Sara Ali Khan-Kartik Aaryan finalized for Aashiqui 3, third lead to be finalized

Listen up SarTik fans. Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan might just be back working together for a movie. Moreover, the film happens to be Aashiqui 3.

The movie will see Kartik as the male lead, reports Bollywood Hungama. It also reports that Sara Ali Khan has been locked in as the female lead in the movie.

The third lead of the film is yet to be finalized. The makers will bring a second female lead on board for the movie.

Sara and Kartik had worked together for the first time in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. The movie released in 2020 but the craze for SarTik began as soon as fans spotted the actors on the sets of the film.

Aashiqui first released in 1990. The musical, starring Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, was a huge hit.

20 years later, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor found their biggest hits in Aashiqui 2. The movie was helmed by Mohit Suri and released in 2013.

Kartik was recently seen in Rohit Dhawan’s Shehzada. The movie, co-starring Kriti Sanon, is the remake of Allu Arjun-Pooja Hegde’s Alu Vaikunthapurramuloo.

He is going to next be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha opposite Kiara Advani. The actor is also a part of Kabir Khan’s next untitled project.

Meanwhile, Sara was last seen in Atrangi Re, which released in 2021. She is now a part of at least four projects, including Laxman Utekar’s untitled next.
