Rakshit Atluri isn't any new to the industry, having debuted alongside Swathi Reddy in his very first film London Babulu and had to work hard to earn his first success, Palasa 1978, the rural drama that released in 2020. Wisely enough, the actor has been particularly choosy after Palasa 1978 and why not? He is currently shooting for Sasivadane, a love-action drama where he's paired opposite Rowdy Boys-fame actress Komalee Prasad. The film, written and directed by Saimohan Ubbana, has wrapped its first schedule recently.
The first schedule of Sasivadane had the team canning a few romantic and comedy scenes featuring Rakshit and Komalee Prasad. With the completion of the schedule, the makers say that they've finished 30 per cent of the shoot including a couple of songs. The supporting cast including Tamil actor Sriman, Raghu Kunche and Mahesh Achanta will join the lead pair in the next schedule. Ahiteja Bellamkonda is bankrolling the film under SVS Constructions Pvt. Ltd and AG Film Company while Gauri Naidu is the presenter of the same.
Shot amidst Godavari backdrop, the team is confident that the rustic ambience of the action drama will resonate with audiences. The romance portions, music and exquisite visuals are expected to be its major highlights. Besides Raghu Kunche, Mahesh Achanta and Sriman, Sasivadane also features Kannada actor Deepak Prince. Saravana Vasudevan is scoring the music for the film with the technical crew also comprising cinematographer Saikumar Dara, editor Garry BH, costume designer Gauri Naidu, to name a few. Sripal Cholleti is the executive producer.
The second schedule of Sasivadane will commence shortly.
