Sathi Leelavathi: Lavanya Tripathi's film wraps up key schedule, release time locked

Lavanya Tripathi is one of the most popular faces in Telugu cinema but has slowed down a bit after her wedding. She is currently working on a film titled Sathi Leelavathi, with Malayalam actor Dev Mohan playing the male lead.

Sathi Leelavathi latest update

The shooting of the film began two weeks ago, and the latest update is that the first schedule has been successfully wrapped up. According to reports, some crucial emotional scenes were filmed during this schedule. Tatineni Satya is directing the film, with Lavanya Tripathi playing the titular role. 

This marks the first time she is portraying an out-and-out Indian character, and she has high expectations for the project. She will be seen in a completely new avatar, as per reports. Dev Mohan also has a significant role, and according to the makers, his character will come as a surprise to the audience. 

Sathi Leelavathi is being produced under the joint banner of Durgadevi Pictures and Trio Studios, while Naaga Mohan and Razesh T are backing the project under Anandi Art Creations.

Renowned composer Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music for the film, marking the first time he is composing for a female-oriented script. The makers have planned to release the film in June 2025, which is why they have been shooting non-stop since day one. After a short break, the team will begin another lengthy schedule, during which most of the talkie portions will be completed.

Speaking about the film, Lavanya Tripathi shared that Sathi Leelavathi is being made as a feel-good movie aimed at appealing to audiences from all walks of life. The cinematography is handled by Binendra Menon, while Sathish Surya is in charge of editing. More details about the film, including the teaser release date, will be announced soon.
