Kuber Group owner Vikas Malu’s wife, Saanvi Malu, has skipped her summon on Monday for questioning in connection with the death of veteran actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik. Days after Satish’s death, Saanvi alleged that her husband Vikas poisoned the actor. She said that Vikas did not want to pay back a loan of ₹15 crores to Satish. Vikas, however, had refuted those claims.

In reference to the investigation, the police said that more than 25-30 staff members have been questioned from Vikas’ farmhouse and nothing suspicious has been found so far. The police also stated that no suspicion has been raised from Satish’s family.

An FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) official said, “The blood test would determine if there was any intoxicant in his blood, while the stomach test would also be done to check for the presence of any substance. The reports will be handed over to the Delhi Police soon.”

Saanvi has now refused to cooperate in the investigation, until the investigation officer is changed. The woman’s lawyer Rajendra Chhabra told ANI that Vikas Malu’s wife won’t cooperate in the investigation pertaining to the “suspicious” role of the investigating officer.  The lawyer also added that the woman had filed rape charges against her husband, and the same investigating officer was probing the case. He was later removed from the case after being charged with tampering with evidence.

Saanvi has also claimed that she has images of people who used to visit her husband regularly. She added that Vikas told her about Anas, who was Dawood Ibrahim’s son and Mustafa who was Dawood Ibrahim’s right-hand-man

Satish, who was staying at Vikas’ farmhouse in Delhi for Holi celebrations with his friends, started feeling uneasy after midnight and told his manager that he was facing difficulty in breathing. His manager then took him to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram where he passed away at 1.43 am, despite being given Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
