Satyadev Kancharana, who hogged the limelight recently for a commendable performance in the vigilante drama Godse, is currently working on an action drama to be directed by VV Gopala Krishna. Commemorating his birthday today, the title of the action drama and the first look poster were launched. Acharya, Srimanthudu filmmaker Koratala Siva will present the actioner bankrolled by Krishna Kommalapati under Arunachala Creations. 

In the poster, Satyadev while sporting a beard and dressed in formal wear is holding a sickle in his left hand and is surrounded by pool of blood. The poster has a backdrop of a water body and throws hints of a temple too. The film will touch upon the story of a youngster caught between good and bad, love and revenge, going by the first impression generated by the poster.

Sunny Kurapati is the cinematographer of the film which will have music by Kaala Bhairava. Tammiraju is the editor of the film while Ram Kumar is the art director. The film's shoot has been wrapped already. Lakshman, Krishna, Athira Raj, Archana, Nanda Gopal, Taarak, Sathyam and others too play important roles. The makers have kept the news of the female lead under wraps as of now.

Gurtunda Seethakalam is Satyadev's upcoming theatrical release on July 15. The film also features Megha Akash, Tamannaah in key roles. The actor is also part of Chiranjeevi's Godfather, aha's web show Locked 2 among others. Satyadev's last release Godse was had him playing the title where he and and his group kidnap several influential politicians in Hyderabad and have a set of demands from the State if the bureaucrats have to be freed. Aishwarya Lekshmi played the female lead.
