SatyaPrem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, had a promising opening at the box office. However, the film's collection has started to decline. On Friday, the movie recorded its lowest figures in the span of nine days. Nonetheless, it has now crossed Rs. 50 crore mark at the Box Office.
The confirmed numbers indicate that the film grossed Rs. 2.85 crore on July 7, bringing the total collection to Rs. 56.06 crore. The movie maintained an overall occupancy rate of 12.14%.
Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani reunite as on-screen love interests in SatyaPrem Ki Katha. Previously seen together in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik and Kiara’s latest offering has the potential to cross Rs. 60 crore mark with a little push. The aim is to achieve a substantial leap on Sunday, reaching a score of Rs. 65 crores by the end of the second weekend. That would be an ideal outcome for the movie.
Following a collection of Rs. 3 crores on Thursday, SatyaPrem Ki Katha remained steady on Friday with an additional 2.85 crores, according to a report on KoiMoi. The film’s stability on Friday was crucial for its growth over the weekend. Since the film did not witness a significant drop, it regained momentum and is likely maximize its earnings by the end of the weekend.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the romantic drama SatyaPrem Ki Katha has a limited window of time to maximize its collection, primarily until Tuesday. This is because the highly anticipated Hollywood film Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning: Part One is set to release on Wednesday. With the Tom Cruise-starrer gaining significant attention and drawing a substantial audience, SatyaPrem Ki Katha is likely to have a tough time at the Box Office.
SatyaPrem Ki Katha boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant and Shikha Talsania. The film also marks a collaboration between Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) and Namah Pictures.
